Tenderloin Bowl XXIX
Eddies exhaust
Nunya, 49-20

BUFFALO, NY - The Eddies made it crystal clear that the BSFL's supreme team wore green and gold for the second successive season while claiming their fifth Tenderloin Cup. With game MVP Amari Cooper snatching air biscuits willy-nilly covering 217 yards including a trio of toasters, the defending champs proceeded to turn the Nunya every which way but loose. Seashrein bigheads made what turned out to be a brilliant lineup move by starting recently acquired Dak Prescott at quarterback for the first time instead of Jared Goff which generated three scoring strikes among a whopping 455 yards (Goff, meanwhile, would have stumbled backward minus 8 points). Frosting was added to the Eddies' title cake by Christian McCaffrey's two tater totes for TDs among 65 yards, Mike Badgley's 14 points 'tween the tines, and 98 yards worth of grabs by Michael Thomas. Sacks apiece by Myles Garrett and J.J. Watt paced the No Haskel defense on the flipside of the ball. Seashrein racked-up 997 yards of total offense compared to 525 for Ephrata.

The suspension of pigskin packer Kareem Hunt certainly crippled the Nunya attack. Wunderkind chucker Patrick Mahomes didn't have enough poop to totally pick up the slack despite completing for 377 yards including a pair of scoreboard blinkers. The No Way 'D', led by a pair of pancakes each from Bradley Chubb and Cameron Jordan, were but fingers in the dike.

Porterhouse Bowl XXIX
Chiggers choke
Hoppers, 34-32

MOOSE JAW, SASK. – The Chiggers held a slight 7 point lead under Monday night lights without anything to counter two Hoppers, receiver Adam Thielen and defender Frank Clark. Clark dragged the quarterback down early-on to whittle some of the deficit. But for an inexplicable reason, Thielen was all but forgotten for most of the game while only catching 70 yards worth of air balls during garbage time thereby leaving Genesee on the downside of victory.

Chatham built an advantage juiced by Porterhouse Bowl MVP Juju Smith-Schuster's 130 yards receiving including two to tango. The Chiggers' winning effort was also aided by Juju's fellow pass snatchers, Devante Adams and Eric Ebron, who hauled-in zone zingers apiece while producing 81 and 65 yards respectively. Although All-BS pig snout packer Todd Gurley was stuffed, held to only 28 rushing yards, Aaron Jones came through by cashing a paycheck among 78 lugging the nut. Justin Houston played a mighty role by jacking the quarterback a time and a half as well as causing an upchuck.

A bunch of the Hoppers' firepower was generated by a ground game featuring zig-zags for 170 yards including a plane penetration by Saquon Barkley, and another counting carry among 111 by Joe Mixon. Travis Kelce also contributed with manhandles for 77 yards including a celebration catch. A full house of Hopalong defenders were productive as Eddie Jackson pilfered an errant aerial and Joey Bosa, Ryan Kerrigan, and Clark each planted the passer. The Grasshoppers lost despite outgaining the Chiggers 817-640 yards.

Sirloin Bowl XXVIII
Bashers bounce
Marauders, 25-22

MULE SHOE, TX – Although trailing by three points into Monday mayhem, the Marauders seemed to have the upperhand with Russell Wilson still to be counted. The Bashers, on the other hand, could only depend on defensive back Harrison Smith to protect their lead. Wilson threw up a pick among a pitiful 72 yards passing without any endzone completions, but managed to gain 61 on keepers. Smith didn't do diddly, so the margin remained unchanged.

Spaeth was bolstered by game MVP George Kittle's grasps for 210 yards including a post toaster to establish a lead. Tyreek Hill added to the advantage with receptions for 139 and Trey Flowers contributed two all important sacks as well as a forced fumble for the Spaethcadet stoppers. Spaeth gained 683 yards compared to 563 for Manhart.

The Marauders stayed within striking distance by slipping the skin to Ezekiel Elliott who rambled for 113 yards and added 79 receiving. Mike Evans latched-on to tosses for 86, Brett Maher booted 11 points through the uprights, and Kyle Fuller intercepted a pass in a third straight game to give the Marauders a fighting chance.

Hamburger Bowl XXIX
Casualties cull
Elites, 31-30

HUMPTULIPS, WA – The Casualties held a precarious 6 point lead into Monday primetime but had nothing left in the tank while the Elites still had receiver Stefon Diggs and defender Danielle Hunter out on the gridiron. Both of Eastmont's players were productive - Diggs palmed passes for 76 yards and Hunter had a quarterback smoosh - but it wasn't quite enough to get the job done.

Fifth Street used Hamburger Bowl MVP Julio Jones' sure hands to account for a pair of lalaland connections among 106 yards. Keenan Allen also came down with a scoring strike along with a conversion grab as well as 78 receiving yards, Andrew Luck chucked a trio of treys among 399 and Nick Chubb pounded for 66 including a visit to the ATM to pad the cushion for the Casualties. Khalil Mack's sack and forced coughup keyed the Street Walkers defensive unit. Fifth Street narrowly edged Eastmont in total offense by 13 yards, 765-752.

The Elites could almost taste a dubya...almost. Consider that the receiving corps of T.Y. Hilton, Josh Gordon, and Diggs sticky fingered air biscuits for 199, 96, and 76 yards respectively, but nothing made it to the promised land. Ben Roethlisberger fell short despite 282 yards through the air including a pair to the promised land...but it could have been enough more 'Terrific' to get a dubya.
