Torin Koos

Koos was a three-time All-American cross-country skier for the Utes. Torin went on to win 10 U.S. titles and compete in four Winter Olympics (2001, '06, '10, '14). During his sophomore year at Utah in 2001, Koos earned a spot on the U.S. Ski Team for the FIS World Ski Championships. He also finished 7th in the classical race at the 2001 NCAA Championships to earn All-American honors for the first time.

In 2002, he rejoined Team USA for the Salt Lake City Games, finishing 36th. Later that season, Torin earned two more All-American citations by finishing 4th in the freestyle and 6th in the classical races at the NCAAs. He competed in six additional World Championships and three more Winter Olympics.

Torin was also a track team distance runner and a cross-country harrier for the Utes.
