Everything went DocDKs' way as Erik Holmberg's whackers set a new Valspar scoring record by going one unde
r Jim Haglund's 1,091 carded back in 2012. The result also earned the DocDKs their third team title in seven stops on the 40th WGA Tour. Holmberg became the 28th member of the WooGA's 1 Grand Club at $1,037 after garnering a sixth all-time WooGA title.

Flossie Sam Burns successfully defended the Valspar title he won a year ago. Despite a real world finish in a deadheat with Davis Riley that required a playoff, it didn't matter because Riley wasn't deemed worthy of a roster spot by WooGA bigheads on draft night. Instead, the closest challenger was DocDk Justin Thomas, a stroke behind Burns who was both the real world and WGA champ.

The WooGA takes a weeklong siesta while the WGC Match Play Championship is being contested. WGA action is back on the tee in two weeks at the Valero Texas Open. Defending champs are the P.Sies and medalist a year ago was Jordan Spieth.
