COACH 1976-83 Volleyball
Jeff was an outstanding football and basketball athlete during prep years for the Panthers as a quarterback who set the school record in 1963 with 17 pass completions in a game. The 1964 WHS graduate went on to Stanford and eventually returned to Wenatchee to pursue business interests. He became involved in the fledgling girls' volleyball program as its coach in 1976.

As head coach, Jeff guided the Panthers to a 137-43 (74.1% win percentage) record. His teams won three league championships and made four state tournament appearances including a title win in 1983, 3rd place in 1982, and 4th place in 1978.

Noted for stressing technique, he authored the book, Pass, Set, Crush: Volleyball Illustrated as a coaching guide to developing skills and strategy.
