||Cicely was a gifted athlete who earned twelve varsity letters at Okanogan High School - four each in volleyball, basketball and track. She was best known for record setting performances in track. Among those standards were four school records in the triple jump (38-4), 200 meters (25.9) long jump (17-10) and high jump (5-2) as well as district records in the triple jump and 200 meters. Cicely won two state 2A triple jump championships as well as a title in the long jump. In basketball, she was named to the All-Caribou Trail League team in 1998 and was second team All-Caribou in volleyball while playing an important role in Okanogan's runnerup finish in state 2A.
At Washington State University, Cicely competed in four NCAA Track Championships and was an All-American as a triple jumper. She set the WSU record at 42-10.25 feet and placed second at the Pac-10 track championships in that event. Cicely also finished third in the heptathlon at the Pac-10 championships in 2002 and her best point total of 5,456 ranked eighth nationally.
She was the North Central Washington College Female Athlete-of-the-Year twice (1999 & 2002) and was honored as a finalist five times (once as a High School Female Athlete, and four times as a College Female Athlete).
