To receive three or more NCW sports awards is a rare accomplishment. To be included in this select group requires superior excellence over several years of competition to signify being among the finest athletes and coaches ever produced in North Central Washington.

Received Sports Awards: 1995, 96, 97 as Prep Female Athlete; 2000, 01 as College Female Athlete. She was a volleyball, basketball and track star in high school. Megan competed in both basketball and track, high jumping as a frosh for the UW, but concentrated on hoops after that to become a two-year All-Pac 10 player for the Huskies.
